It is our great pleasure to invite you to the EUROMECH-Colloquium 627, which will be held in Frankfurt, Germany, from April 6 to 8, 2022, in person, hopefully if corona measures allow.
The Euromech Colloqium is intended to provide a forum for worldwide experts in mechanics of soft biological tissue.
The ability to appropriately model and identify the patient-specific mechanical behaviour of human soft tissues and its changes has the potential to provide additional information on the current state of many diseases and improve diagnostics or to assist in clinical decision making. The colloquium intends to address new experimental methods, appropriate modelling of the current state, the growth and remodelling of soft tissues, as well as the uniqueness and reproducibility of solutions of inverse problems, especially with regard to the subject variability of material properties as well as measurement and model uncertainty. Particular emphasis will be placed on the validation of constitutive models and inverse approaches which is a necessary prerequisite for translation to clinical application.
Scientific discussions are the best way to generate new ideas, and we would like to focus on this aspect more strongly. To meet our goals, the Euromech Colloquium will bring together 25 invited renowned scientists, including 4 well established keynote speakers. The oral sessions will be complemented with a selection of submitted abstracts.

Reported fees are intended for EUROMECH members. Membership to EUROMECH is mandatory.
